A group of about 200 migrants protested at the center in Pozos de Camargo, about 200 kilometers (125 miles) west of Mexico City, on Saturday. They threw rocks at the police and threw at least three Molotov cocktails at the facility, according to information obtained by AFP from Coahuila state authorities. Officers then opened fire at the migrants, leaving four injured, local police official Samuel Carbajal said. The migrant group was dispersed after an unknown number of migrants fled the detention center, Carbajal added. Police arrested a photographer and confiscated his equipment, Carbajal said, adding that he was not sure what he was taking photos of. "What we do know is that the protest began and ended peacefully," he said, adding that the operation had no casualties. There are currently about 3,000 migrants in the detention center. Coahuila state authorities said Sunday that the protesters who threw Molotov cocktails were members of the Central American migrant group, El Salvador Hwy 80, which has been fighting the Mexican government since 2016. The migrants say they are fleeing persecution in El Salvador. They had previously been held at the El Chaparral migrant detention center near Tijuana, before authorities transferred them to the center in Pozos de Camargo. Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto has said the government does not want to "maintain a permanent presence" of migrants in the country. The government is now trying to send the migrants back to their countries of origin in Central America, and Mexico is also seeking to deport those who do not have documents.Art imitates life at YMCA As the curtain rises on the new William and Gail Cook Theatre at the YMCA in Earlham, Ind., it appears that a look at the proceedings
